Mark started his manufacturing career by purchasing a few form/fill/seal pouching machines in the mid-1990s, even at times running them himself! This led to his purchase of Paket Corporation from its original founder in 1996. Paket has grown significantly under Mark’s stewardship, transitioning from a tube filling operation servicing industrial applications to a formulation and manufacturing partner to leading beauty, personal care, and household and cleaning brands. Mark also helped commercialize several flexible packaging solutions, including the pinch pouch and what became the industry standard 1.75 fl. oz. pouch in the haircare/skincare space in the early 2000s.

Mark has also been an active CPA member since 2003, serving on CPA’s board as a director and an officer from 2010 to 2023. He has worked passionately to advance the association’s interests and growth. Mark oversaw CPA’s back-office integration with PMMI in 2018, which further institutionalized and professionalized the organization.
