Speakers:
Michelle Sauder
Michelle is the Marketing Director for Dow’s Food and Specialty Packaging Business and a Marketing Fellow for Dow. She joined Dow in 2018 through the Dow/DuPont merger and has since held various marketing roles. Michelle's current responsibilities include leading marketing strategy for the food packaging segment in North America and she has global responsibility for Dow’s CLOSE THE LOOP goal. With more than a decade of experience in the packaging industry, Michelle is passionate about creating a more sustainable future for flexible packaging.
Before joining Dow, Michelle spent 16 years at DuPont, where she worked across multiple businesses and functions including operations, product management, corporate marketing, and field sales. Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Delaware.
Eduardo Ruiz
Eduardo is Principal TS&D Scientist for the Flexible Packaging Team in Dow’s NA Packaging and Specialty Plastics business. In his role, Ruiz supports key flexible packaging customers and Dow’s technology implementation in Flexible Packaging Applications, working with the Value Chain , including OEMs, Converters, Co-Packers and Brand Owners.
Prior to joining Dow, Ruiz worked as technical and development manager for specialty chemicals at Elf Atochem (Arkema) and OXITENO. He has 30+ years of experience in technical service, development and commercial areas for plastics and chemical products in Latin America and North America.
Ruiz received a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), and MBA in Industrial Management by Universidade de São Paulo – Fundação Vanzolini.
