Education: Purdue University 1983, Industrial Management and Industrial Engineering.

Early Work Experience: Completed Tool and Die Apprenticeship and work as a tool maker for various Tool and Die shops in Indiana and Ohio. Engineer and General Manager for Tier One Automotive supplier Excel Industries (now Dura Corporation).

Present Working Experience: President / Owner of Reactive Resin Products, dba: RRP Packaging

RRP located in Perrysburg, Ohio was started in 1989 by Jeff as a molding company supplying automotive parts to various OEM and Tier One automotive suppliers along with products sold into the automotive aftermarket and custom molding markets. In 1997 RRP began supplying contract packaging services to various Tier One suppliers and evolved these packaging services into the entire focus for RRP Packaging. RRP presently services Automotive Tier One Suppliers and Internet Order Companies by providing a variety of packaging, kitting, product assembly, order fulfillment and logistics services to their customers.

Personal: Jeff has been married for 32 years to Therese and enjoys spending time with her and their 2 married daughters and grandchildren. Jeff volunteers at various community projects and on Church Committees. When not working he enjoys upland game hunting and fishing with friends and family members.

Nikki Johnson has spent nearly 25 years of her professional career within the packaging and printing sectors, with experience in both equipment and materials.

She held a number of business development roles within ITW from 1993 through 2013. After that, she began consulting independently in the industry helping packaging equipment and material manufacturers, distributors and service providers better position their companies for growth. During that time, she served as the Managing Director of the Contract Packaging Association.

Today, Nikki Johnson is serving as Executive Vice President/General Manager for Kala in Orem, Utah. Kala is an exciting and growing organization that provides printed labels and flexible packaging.

Tim was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of The Visual Pak Companies.  

Tim's expertise in contract manufacturing, contract packaging, 3rd Party Logisitcs, and transportation services to the Contract Packaging Industry makes him an invaluable resource for our members. Tim understands what it takes to be able to support both large brick and mortar clients as well as emerging marketing only clients.

Tim has an undergraduate degree in Business from Indiana University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He has a diverse background having held positions in Operations, Finance and Business Development in the consulting, technology, manufacturing, and distribution industries.

In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, participating in volunteer organizations, and whenever possible enjoying outdoor activities involving fishing and upland bird hunting.

Jon Hayward

Jon Hayward is Vice President of Bonded Pac, the contract packaging division of Bonded Logistics, a third party logistics provider. Based in Charlotte, NC, Jon has been instrumental in the division’s move to a 218,000 sq. ft. dedicated facility where they provide a variety of contract packaging services. His focus is managing the significant growth Pac has seen from current customers while expanding into new verticals and technologies. Jon is active with the CPA, serving for three years on the Annual Meeting Committee, including committee chair in 2015, prior to accepting a position on the Board of Directors in 2016.

Jon joined Boned Pac as General Manager in 2010. Prior to that, he played an integral role as Partner/Director of Sales and Marketing during the 2008 start-up of Olde Mecklenburg brewery. Jon’s early career was with Coveris Advanced Coatings, a flexible film coater and converter, where he spent 18 years in various engineering, operations, and commercial roles, most notably as Senior Director of Sales & Marketing.

Jon has a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Clemson University as well as an general management MBA from Wake Forest. He resides in south Charlotte with his wife of 26 years, Kim, and has two children, Alyson and Jacob.

Patty Dodson

Patty Dodson was the founder of Exact Packaging, opening up her facility in 1991 with 8 employees. In the past 25 years Patty had grown the business to employee 100 + full time employees and an additional 300 during the peak season.

Exact Packaging is a temperature controlled contract packaging warehousing, fulfillment and distribution center with two facilities in Pontiac and Quincy Illinois.

In 2015 Patty stepped down as the CEO to Director of Sales and Marketing so she could concentrate on building new and current business and building relationships with her customers to maximize the best customer service in her industry and to grow with the CPA board to build strength and leadership in the organization.

Patty has more than 40 years’ experience in running all phases of a business. She formally co- owned Fosdick Poultry in Fairbury, Ill. She currently holds executive positions with the Greater Livingston County Economic Division, The CPA, and CCMSI Illinois Workers Comp.

She supports, attends and chaired the Livingston County Relay for Life for nine years. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, traveling, visiting customers, and attending many sports events for her eight grandchildren with her husband Berley.

Headquartered in Spring, TX, Allegiance Staffing has operations in 14 states and continues to expand. In 2001, Tom Landry was a co-founder of the company. Under his leadership, Allegiance Staffing has become one of only 13 staffing companies to be named “Best in Staffing” by Inavero seven consecutive years (2010 – 2016). This prestigious award is based 100% on client satisfaction.

Tom has made his career in the staffing industry for the past 30 years and has operated his own firm for 24 of those years. He created and successfully implemented the Allegiance “3 Day / 3 Way” hiring system that has dramatically outperformed the staffing industry in producing high quality talent and unparalleled talent retention rates. He is the past President of the Texas Association of Staffing, and currently serves on the Safety and Worker Comp Committee of the American Staffing Association. In 2016 he was named to “The Staffing 100” by Staffing Industry Analysts as one of the most influential people in staffing. A sought after speaker, Tom has presented at the WERC and CPA annual conferences on Total Cost of Ownership, at the IWLA Operations Conference and CPA on Affordable Care Act compliance and has published several papers on effective purchasing of talent to reduce cost.

Mark Omalley

Mark was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. He attended college at Northwestern University, with a BA in Biology and attended graduate school at DePaul University, MBA Finance. Early on Mark worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep, Merger & Acquisition valuation consultant, and Building Supply Company owner.

Mark is now the Owner/President of Paket Corp since 1996. Paket is a contract manufacturer and filler of personal care products including hair care, lotions, crèmes, etc. Located on the Southeast side of Chicago in over 105,000 square feet, Paket specializes in pouch and tube filling and also have a wide range of secondary packaging capabilities. They have complete blending/compounding and lab facility to compliment their filling lines.

Mark has been married 35 years with 3 children, Brian, Daniel and Kevin. He will also ditch work for golf or snow skiing almost always.

Rob Reinders

Robert Reinders is the owner and leader of these three organizations responsible for all operations and fiscal matters. He is responsible for market strategy and product development as well. Rob has over 30 years of thorough knowledge in the production, operations and sales/ marketing of flexible packaging products throughout the flexible packaging industry.

His operational experience includes production from the ground floor up to interim General Manager. During that time he worked all of the production equipment, all administrative activities including VOC Emissions compliance, budgeted hourly rates on new equipment and pricing strategy for the market.

His sales and marketing experience start at the CSR level, sales professional and ultimately Director of Sales with responsibilities for the national sales team and broker network. He managed corporate accounts including Nabisco, Hostess Brands, Interstate Brands, Sunshine Biscuit and Granny Goose Foods.

Founder and President of Performance Packaging January 1995 to the present. Founder and President Performance Machinery Corporation (PMC) Jan 2015. Founder and CEO of RCR Beverages dba Blue Kangaroo Contract Filling Services Jan 2015.

Jerry started CTI in 2000 after working in the packaging industry for many years.  He originally designed and developed packaging programs for a variety of companies.  Once CTI was launched, he quickly expanded into co-packing.  Jerry has been a member of the CPA for 7 years and has been very actively involved. 

His primary focus has been developing solutions for businesses of all sizes.  Additionally, Jerry is very passionate about the environment and made his career in packaging a way to implement as many cost saving changes while reducing waste or using environmentally friendly materials.  Well before it became a buzz word for the industry, Jerry was committed to RRR, focusing on recycling and reducing waste.

John F Mazelin is the Vice President-Business Development for Accu-tec, Inc, a member of the B4B Alliance. Headquartered in Louisville, KY, his responsibilities include overseeing business development across the Alliance, which includes Accu-tec, Inc, a contract packager, Mercury Logistics of Kentucky, a 3PL provider and Shippers Supply Co, a supplier of packaging materials.

Mr. Mazelin has degrees from Indiana University and the University of Evansville. He began his packaging career with Inland Container Corp (now part of International Paper) in sales and sales management. His experience includes interaction with consumer packaged goods companies and tier 1 and tier 2 automotive companies. He has over 15 years of experience in the contract packaging industry and has served on the Board of Directors of the CPA since 1997.
