Scott Thomas inducted into CPA's Hall of Fame
The Contract Packaging Association is pleased to announce that Scott Thomas, Vice President of Sales and National Distribution at Millennium Packaging, Inc., has been inducted into the Contract Packaging Association Hall of Fame.
The Contract Packaging Association Hall of Fame honors professionals who have made a significant contribution to the Contract Packaging Association and the contract packaging industry.
Thomas is the fifth inductee into the CPA Hall of Fame, which was established in 2006.
Scott has invested over 35 years in the packaging industry, representing Cryovac, Shanklin & Sealed Air and proudly, the Contract Packaging Association. A career devoted to his customers, Territory Sales, Business Development, Distribution Management, National Accounts, Scott also served on Sealed Air’s Films Management Team.
The past few years, Scott's focus has included sales and management in the 3PL & Contract Packaging and Fulfillment markets. This focus enabled a smooth post retirement transition to Millennium Packaging, who serves as Sealed Air's Master Distributor of Opti Next Generation Shrink Films.
“It is an absolute privilege to induct CPA Board Member Scott Thomas into the Hall of Fame. Scottie has long been a dedicated champion to both our members and to the industry, and I am thrilled he is now the fifth legend in the Hall of Fame," said CPA President Vicky Smitley.
Contract Packaging Association Hall of Fame criteria is as follows:
- A minimum of 20 years in the industry
- A career that has significantly impacted the growth of the Association/Industry
- Substantial and distinctive contribution to the Association/Industry
- A pioneer or legend within the Association/Industry
