CPA needs your expertise!
During the past few years, the Contract Packaging Association (CPA) has experienced tremendous growth.
With this growth comes the need for greater involvement from more individuals who are associated with Contract Packaging Association member companies. Individuals from member companies should consider serving CPA on one of its committees.
Annual Meeting Committee
Responsible for helping CPA produce an industry desired education and networking event that promotes the mission and pillars of the CPA with an ultimate goal of providing value to the membership and the industry. Specifically the committee will give strategic guidance on the overall sense and feel of the Annual Meeting that helps staff make event management decisions within budget.
Responsible for the sourcing, development, curation and syndication of educational content that would be relevant and interesting to the contract packaging membership and market as a whole. Ultimate responsibility for any logistics and coordination of events, activities that further the Committee’s purpose and to operate within the budget set by the CPA. The Committee is responsible for reviewing proposals from members and associate members, driving education programs and initiatives.
Industry Events Committee
Responsible for helping CPA gain exposure within all relative industries and promote the mission and pillars of the CPA with an ultimate goal of growing CPA membership and promoting its existing member companies, gaining them access to business growth. Specifically the committee will give strategic guidance on which industry events to pursue and develop strategy on CPA’s presence at those chosen venues.
Member Services Committee
Responsible for the identification of new programs and program enhancements that would be relevant and interesting to the contract packaging membership and market as a whole, furthering the value proposition of membership to the CPA. In addition, the committee is responsible for vetting the identified programs and improvements for submission to the CPA Board of Directors. Execution of programs and improvements will be planned and guided by the committee relying on staff for implementation and, when needed, committee members. But the committee will be mainly focused on strategy as it relates to choosing areas of improvement, implementation and launch.
Membership Growth Committee
Responsible for helping CPA grow membership to the Association and further promotes the mission and pillars of the CPA with an ultimate goal positioning CPA as the voice of the industry. Specifically the committee will give strategic guidance on areas of growth and focused plans for reaching growth goals as set by the Board of Directors in the areas identified.
