Directors are the members voice of the association and help guide and manage its operations. They will be asked to provide leadership and decision-making regarding important issues requiring CPA’s activities, operation and direction.
This year we will elect 3 board members. We have 3 Directors seeking re-election to another term. Regular members (CoMans and CoPacks) vote for Regular Members Board Directors and Associate Members vote for Associate Board Directors. Your Ballots will reflect the candidates you can elect.

Education: He graduated from The University of Connecticut in 1987, where he earned a degree in Economics while serving as a member of the Varsity Golf Team and a brother of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
Present Working Experience: Michael Collins is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sterling Contract Packaging Inc., located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. During his 18 years with Sterling, the company has experienced incredible growth, allowing the company to build a 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in 2016.
Personal: When Michael isn’t helping a CPG with their retail packaging deadline, he can be found on the golf course or snow skiing with his two children. He became involved with the CPA in 2007 and most recently helped with the development of the new RFQ tool on the CPA website.

Personal: Headquartered in Spring, TX, Allegiance Staffing has operations in 14 states and continues to expand. In 2001, Tom Landry was a co-founder of the company. This prestigious award is based 100% on client satisfaction. Tom has made his career in the staffing industry for the past 30 years and has operated his own firm for 24 of those years. He created and successfully implemented the Allegiance “3 Day / 3 Way” hiring system that has dramatically outperformed the staffing industry in producing high quality talent and unparalleled talent retention rates. He is the past President of the Texas Association of Staffing, and currently serves on the Safety and Worker Comp Committee of the American Staffing Association. In 2016 he was named to “The Staffing 100” by Staffing Industry Analysts as one of the most influential people in staffing. A sought after speaker, Tom has presented at the WERC and CPA annual conferences on Total Cost of Ownership, at the IWLA Operations Conference and CPA on Affordable Care Act compliance and has published several papers on effective purchasing of talent to reduce cost.

Michael is the Director of Sales at PAC Worldwide in Cincinnati, Ohio, and brings 24 years of contract packaging, sales, management, and operations to the table. PAC Worldwide offers a wide range of co-packing capabilities in an over 250,000 square foot facility. They have experienced tremendous growth over the past year and fully expect this trend to continue.
Michael has been married to his wife Cheryl for 25 years, and they have three sons, Talon, Taran, and Tian, of whom they are very proud. They have also been blessed with four granddaughters.
