ANNUAL MEETING: FEBRUARY 18-21, 2010
If you are reading this newsletter and have not yet registered for the Thursday-Sunday, February 18-21, 2010 annual meeting in Naples, Florida, stop reading and go to www.conractpackaging.org/annualmeeting and register. Can you think of anything more appealing than this location the third week of February? We thought not.

Spouses and guests not attending the full business meeting are offered an attractive a la carte package.

SPONSORSHIPS, TABLETOP EXHIBITS AVAILABLE
CPA Associate (supplier) Members can sponsor and/or exhibit. Non-members can exhibit for the first time, at a premium. If the exhibitor joins the association within 60 days of the end of the meeting, the premium is applied to the membership.

CPA COMMITTEE SYSTEM IN PLACE & OPERATING
Has become the engine driving most new initiatives. Committees are one of the best ways to become engaged, make a contribution and take away in kind. Currently operating are management, marketing, membership, meetings, education, associate membership and surveys. Volunteers have always been welcome. Thank you for your ongoing contributions.

STATE OF THE CONTRACT PACKAGING INDUSTRY REPORT
Remains the most current report of its type available and continues to be purchased by members and non-members alike. Being meaningfully less costly to members, the report has become an additional incentive to join the association. Information relating to size, value, growth, purchasing responsibility, mergers and acquisitions is unduplicated in any other report. See www.contractpackaging.org/industryreport for additional information.

FINANCIAL STATUS
As John Riley, CPA president relates in his “President’s Letter” in the November/December issue of Contract Packaging,..the association is financially healthy. Over the past five years we have delevered and are carrying cash balances”. That which is not immediately required is safely invested in deposits insured by the FDIC. “We are setting the bar high. We want to continue to provide our members with undisputed value”, continued John Riley.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Annual Meeting next month!
